This year it seems nothing has been going smoothly for me although just when i thought some good things were about to happen but only for it to end up being a disappointment...
Just some thoughts
Human are just so wierd and funny. When you don't treat someone nice they will say you are unfriendly, no good and all the negative stuff. However when you treat them nice, showering them with the care and concerns.. its either being abused or not appreciated to the extend it ends up either you being called a nag or you don't care and concern for them. What's more ironic is that treating someone nice will make that person avoid you.. So what the hell are we suppose to do? Treat someone good or bad? Someone kindly please enlighten me...What is the difference between "Optimistic" vs "Realistic" and "Realistic" vs "Pessimistic"?
I don't understand why people can keep telling me that i am pessimistic and that i need to be optimistic while they themselves end up breaking down, stressed up and even to the extend getting angry when they encounter with a tough problem and are not able to solve it as the datelines draw closer. Where's the so called be optimistic? It seems majority of these proclaimed "perfectionists" are people who always living in denial or trying to make themselves feel better by trying to be "optimistic",being stubborn and running away from a problem and not facing it. There is nothing wrong in being optimistic but at times when you know very well in certain situations, no matter how optimistic you try to be you are just not able to do anything about it. So why deceive yourself in the first place only to feel the pain later?
Being ambitious is good however over the limit isn't... you are just giving yourself additional stress isn't it? I mean its like you know very well your capabilities and whether you are able to achieve/complete something but you become greedy and demand for more which is out of your reach thus end up getting nothing at all. Yes there is that great satisfaction feeling when you are able to achieve that "extraordinary" goal that you aim for, however that is IF you DO achieve it. Who don't want to be perfect in whatever they do? Everyone does..Its just that no one is born perfect. They may excel in certain things but they are also other things which they can't excel in no matter how hard they try.
Some people are very amusing. When they asked for an advice and are given one, they don't heed the advice and stick to their own decisions. Then why ask in the first place? Most ironically is that when they are being told about their flaws and what will happen if they stick to their stubbornness, they get angry and still insist doing the way they think is right. Even after encountering setbacks, they just don't learn from their mistakes and make the same old mistakes over and over again. Why? Why? Why?
School Stuffs
Its like i have enter hell ever since i promoted to 3rd year 3months ago and there was no turning back but just dashing blindly ahead in search of a path out of this hell.. Its really crazy shit man.. First 2 weeks of intense lectures for 2 modules followed by bombardments of assignments and the submission dates for the assignments are so close to one another that every week there's at least 2 assignments to submit. More ironically everything is suppose to be self learned/read within a short period of time to complete that particular assignment given. Most of the time whatever that has been taught in lecture don't really coincides with what we are being tasked to do in terms of the assignments. What is the purpose of having tutorial lesson when i am suppose to self read/learn every single shit and even when in doubt asking the tutor questions, the tutor himself is unable to explain or at times just don't explain properly. What is the point of me paying so much just to go to school to sit through 2 weeks of lectures which rushes through topics like a bullet train (ends up i have to self read again at home) and tutorials which basically are just for me to attend to know when i am suppose to submit assignments. I might as well just pay for the exams fee and retrieve the notes online and read everything and submit my assignments online and sit for the exams when its time. Save time and money right? I am fine with self-learning and reading but not to such an extend. Yeah i know majority universities also make their students self learn and stuff. However they don't make their students self learn something and produce something within a week or less do they?
Argh 2 more semesters to go... can't wait for this hell to faster end..
Personal stuffs
Don't understand why no matter what i do or don't do, everything just seems to be my fault -_-".Feeling very tired mentally, physically and emotionally.. At times i just wish i could just don't care about anything and just go visit various parts of the world and relax myself.
Haiz exams in 2 weeks time... Hope everything goes well i.e getting good grades haha...
I shall stop here.... Time to get back to assignments >_<
if everything were as simple as you think it could be, there would be world peace, and no one would be unhappy..
ReplyDeletebeing optimistic is a mindset that one tries hard to achieve, but who can really be optimistic when reality strikes and there is a yawning gap between incompletion and imperfection?
nobody like being told about their flaws, although deep down inside they know that its true.. stubbornness, on the other hand arises from the innate nature of a person..
good luck with whoever and whatever you are stressing over..
Well i agree with what ya say twin. if everything were that simple this world would really be a peaceful one.
